That's exactly why it devolves into misanthropy, eats itself. Like the megalomaniac becoming petty and materialistic for the sake of his "greatness." It's why "hell is other people." When you're looking for nothing but authenticity, you see falsity and pretense everywhere. Also why Sartre was a paranoid hermit.

Could very well be, but once you lose many of your attachments to the 'preservation of humanity', existence shows itself in quite high light. Secondly, donning on the mantle of 'human' seems more work than it is worth. Being a class mongrel - or mongrel of any kind - makes being very difficult.
