'Smart' women, give me a fucking break.

>> No.1241788

Smart chicks are hot, yes, but there are many diffferent kinds of smart chicks. Least hot among them, unfortunately, are the literature majors. Their brains have been soaked in man-hating women's lit culture for so long that they see their own sexuality as some kind of disease or weakness. They tend to seldom wash their vaginas and rely on oversize dildos or emaciated nonthreatening man-boy types to satisfy their sexual needs.

Not. Hot.

The science chicks though... holy shit. Physics majors most of all. They can blow your mind or fuck your brains out at will. Do want.

Science chicks for the win.

>> No.1241831

>>1241788
This. Lit chicks always have their vaginas so far up their own ass that they think even the mention of sex constitutes anal date-rape.

Then, when you finally do have (mediocre) sex with them, afterglow is replaced with an four-hour-long dramagasm where you'll be lucky to leave before they start running around the room scream-ctying and smearing feces on the walls.

Do not fuck a litchick. EVER.

>> No.1241856

20 years ago maybe, but smoking is looked down on by academics.
You're confusing hipsters with intellectuals.

>> No.1241857

>>1241788
Yeah. Yeah, I agree. Also, "smart" lit chicks are much more often pseudo-intellectuals or self-involved fuck ups. I learned to really despise these critters. Of the...what? Two? girls I've dated who fit the "lit girl" archetype, both sucked. The relationship centered around them vying for intellectual dominance.

Of the two science-types I've dated, both were quite enjoyable. They were both biology majors, and as compared to the lit girls, they were: hotter, more down to earth, smarter, better conversationalists, more considerate, nicer in general, and less capricious. I must say though, they seemed sorta alien sometimes when they went into research-lab-scientist mode

>> No.1241858

A note on fuckin' lit chicks...

Is that why guys are put-off when I speak to them about literature? I've been wondering lately...Typically, I'll go on a date. It'll be awesome (assurance from them by extending dates, taking about future plans) but when they find out I read, they, like, die of uninterest...And as much as I try to refuel it, they'll make snide remarks about my intelligence and eventually, I just drop connection...

Should I not mention I read to get fucked?

Or is this just YOUR opinion?

>> No.1241866

Nah, talking about literature is fine. It's just the holier than thou line of thinking most have and never shutting up about feminism, while of course expecting to have dinner bought for them that pisses men off.

I personally really enjoy discussing literature on dates. All of the girls I've date since college have been pretty interested in reading, which is good, but it's hard to say without actually hearing you talk about it. If you come off as "OKAY LISTEN I AM REALLY IMPRESSIVE AND HERE'S WHY" then yeah, drop it and maybe you can get some SWEET DICK. One girl I dated called herself a writer and talked about fucking Salinger all the time. I would still fuck her after this, but it was really like a grudge fuck and I secretly loathed her ridiculous shit.

>Only a male intellect clouded by the sexual drive could call the stunted, narrow-shouldered, broad-hipped and short-legged sex the fair sex: for it is with this drive that all its beauty is bound up. More fittingly than the fair sex, women could be called the unaesthetic sex. Neither for music, nor poetry, nor the plastic arts do they possess any real feeling or receptivity: if they affect to do so, it is merely mimicry in service of their effort to please. This comes from the fact that they are incapable of taking a purely objective interest in anything whatever, and the reason for this is, I think, as follows. Man strives in everything for a direct domination over things, either by comprehending or by subduing them. But woman is everywhere and always relegated to a merely indirect domination, which is achieved by means of man, who is consequently the only thing she has to dominate directly. Thus it lies in the nature of women to regard everything simply as a means of capturing a man, and their interest in anything else is only simulated, is no more than a detour, i.e. amounts to coquetry and mimicry.

-Arthur Schopenhauer

>>1241857
Just a note on your intelluctual dominance refrence...For me, I typically tend to enjoy when a guy "beats" me in the argument. It shows that not only is he smarter than me but...uhm...also, more dominant which usually just leads to a higher physical attraction; maybe, they, too, are seeking that?

>Nor can one expect anything else from women if one considers that the most eminent heads of the entire sex have proved incapable of a single truly great, genuine and original achievement in art, or indeed of creating anything at all of lasting value: this strikes one most forcibly in regard to painting, since they are just as capable of mastering its technique as we are, and indeed paint very busily, yet cannot point to a single great painting; the reason being precisely that they lack all objectivity of mind, which is what painting demands above all else. Isolated and partial exceptions do not alter the case: women, taken as a whole, are and remain thorough and incurable philistines: so that, with the extremely absurd arrangement by which they share the rank and title of their husband, they are a continual spur to his ignoble ambitions. They are sexus sequior, the inferior second sex in every respect: one should be indulgent toward their weaknesses, but to pay them honour is ridiculous beyond measure and demeans us even in their eyes.

She's nervous and worries that her asshole smells even though she was careful to wash it closely (it does have a little bit of an odor--you don't tell her). She's awkward about positioning her asshole up in the air, shifting around and trying to hold her legs up (it makes her belly squish together; she worries you think she's fat). You pour some lube on your cock and around her hole. She starts to make a joke to cut the awkwardness. You poke a lubed up finger into her before she can say the punchline. She makes a nice like this: "Hoonrrffggh. Huhgnr." You laugh; she blushes. She starts the joke over again (she doesn't know what to do). Again you enter her before she can complete it, this time with your penis. It's like fucking a lubed-up hole in the drywall with a plastic bag filled with vaseline on the other side. Are you 14 years old? How hard is it for you to understand that this is a literature board for discussing literature. If you want to talk about fashion, there's a board for that. if you want to look at pictures of girls, there's a board for that. There are even request boards where you can ask for pictures of girls with books.

No one's telling you what to do. They are letting you know that you are doing something wrong, pissing everyone off, and wasting your own goddamn time. Do you really have nothing better to do with your day than "let this little prick get ten sages in, then bump the thread, just so people can see what a prissy little terrified-of-sex pansy he is"? About a month ago I read Carrier of Ladders. I was really hoping to enjoy it because he was best friends with my favorite poet, and he's the current US Poet Laureate.

Unfortunately I only found a couple poems I liked. He is really abstract, lots of "you" with no reference, random imagery, "leaves dripping crimson" and "hills of cloud" and such things. He also lovvvvves to repeat words three or four times in a row (for effect, presumably).
