Worth a read? For aesthetic and esoteric reasons, I mean. I'm not a Christcuck.

Yes, read the KJV, it is basically the definitive and a holy book by itself, disregarding it as a translation

Great stories and surprisingly fun to read once you get past Noah's part in Genesis(the very first part)

Also great language

Simeon and Levi avenging the rape of their sister by Schechem, the son of the prince Hamor:

>"And it came to pass on the third day, when they were sore, that two of the sons of Jacob, Simeon and Levi, Dinah's brethren, took each man his sword, and came upon the city boldly, and slew all the males.

>And they slew Hamor and Shechem his son with the edge of the sword, and took Dinah out of Shechem's house, and went out."

Yeah, it’s worth a read.

I have that exact copy and try to crack it open a couple times a week and read 5ish chapters. It’s not much, easily done in one sitting. Considering its influence, you really begin to see the difference in your understanding of other literature once you get far in. I’m almost done with the Old Testament.
