Go back to your grave Spengler. The winter has barely started.

Was he right about Caesarism? The executive branch in America has grown it's power significantly in the last few decades.

I think he was right, in the next 100 years we will see if Spengler was right or not. How and why the Caesarist phase will begin is beyond me, we can only speculate. Already we are seeing the beginning of this phase in my opinion with the rise of Trump, Bolsonaro, and the Italian and Hungarian nationalist governments the start of the era of populist strong men is starting. The (probably) coming hegemonic crisis between China and America, or a massive economic collapse will set the world into chaos and panic, this fear and desire for action will be what makes the people happily expect a new (for the faustian west) style of governing.

Why is it that cursory readers of Spengler are always obsessed with Caesarism? There's so many more interesting aspects of the decline, such as the impending crisis of technology.

He has a short work called Man and Technics which is like 50 pages.

s-sorry, it's just that Spengler threads always seem to devolve into arguing about whether or not Trump is a sign of the beginning of Caesarism, of if maybe it is actually corporations instead of politics, and so on.
