Same with Bulgakov, the reason Master and Margarita was never published during his lifetime was because it was laregely a satire of Soviet bureaucracies and life.
I think it goes without saying that Solzhenitsyn and Pasternak were anti Soviet Communism, Solzhenitsyn was basically a religious fanatic.
