I finished reading the Canterbury Tales today and they were a very comfy read. What are some equally enjoyable books that /lit/ thinks I should read?

I thought about reading this. I've always liked the idea of reading through collections of stories. The closest thing my country has to CT and the Decameron is much shorter and pales in comparison.
