If not christianity then something else. Christianity is only a small part of it but still substantial in your thinking. It is hereditary, a tradition that is in your mind and you cant get rid of it even if you want to. To get rid of the poison as you say you need to destroy the western culture with its people or wait few centuries until the influence is just a small grain in the grand scheme of things. It is still something that already happen so erasing the influence of christianity is impossible. Even if nobody believed in it as religion, your thinking and culture is heavily influenced by it and cant be erased. Even if you go beyond it, the new culture and thinking was possible only because of christianity happening.
