I read all solid books all year.

The worst was probably some Plato dialogues I read in January of this year, back when I was getting back into reading.

Either that or The General Theory/Road to Serfdom, which were both mediocre.

Journey to a Revolution by Michael Korda. What I expected was a vivid insight into the Hungarian Revolution in 1956. What I got what the story of Michael Korda and his snooty Oxford friends driving down to Hungary to see "history" first-hand, his creepy descriptions of every woman he meets purely in terms of her looks, all the while he and his friends only surviving because his influential film-director dad had enough connections to get them into the American Embassy. Legit piece of dog shit, and he had the pretention to end the book with that Wordsworth quote:
>Bliss was it in that dawn to be alive,
>But to be young was very heaven!

Fuck you Michael Korda you bourgeoisie slug I hope you drown in your own urine some day

Worst book for me was Land of the Tree Gods by Jan Fridegård. It was just under 200 pages but I could barely get myself to finish it. So fucking dull.
