What will the next great American novel cover?

I find it amusing how the novel idea thread's posts either have seemingly archaic plots/tones, needlessly intricate, or are future/tech oriented. The next great novel WILL necessarily be about internet culture: pop #trends, memes, video browsing, social media scrolling and whoring, online dating, more memes and various internet movements, shitposting, lurking on boards, internet isolation and addiction etc. etc.

the next great American novel will be a retelling of the Divine Comedy taking place in New Orleans during Mardi Gras where the main character comes to the realization that there is no meaning to life in this manner
there's no paradiso, he kills himself after purgatorio

whatever it’s about, it will be necessary for this book to blur the line or simply equate spoken dialogue with text/chat messages. barely any need to differentiate between the two anymore

Tao Lin already exists, just because you aren't in touch with any literature from the last decade don't assume books aren't made anymore, much less that you have a valuable opinion about current literature.
Please don't be a retard.
