Thanks for the response. Yea ive already played the game which made me interested in the book. Im up to the part in the book where artyom has to travel to Polis and has gone on that train with some others and hes deciding which route to take to get there, and doesnt want to go through where the reds are. Im not a big book reader, but would u say metro 2033 is a great book? please rate 1-10 :)

Bumping for moar opinions.
When I played the demo of Metro 2033, I was plannig to buy the game but I saw there was a book and thought It may be better to read the book first.

YOU TELL US HOW YOU FOUND IT.

SINCE I'M YET TO READ METRO 2034, NOT MUCH I CAN REALLY COMMENT ON IT. I'D RATHER READ BOTH BEFORE I COME TO ANY CONCLUSIONS ABOUT THE STORY.

>> No.1229578

rating on 1-10 ... i would give it a 9 because the metro station names are a bit confusing but the map at the back of the book helps ;) READ IT!

As i said ive only read like 1/8th of the book but i dont really know how to measure its greatness since, to be honest ive never really read alot of books and this is my initiation into becoming a book worm (if it works out). You can at least tell me what you thought of metro 2033 as a book and its content despite not finishing the squeals right? To be straight so far i think metro 2033 is okay, but just seems to go off track a bit, but then again thats good i suppose since it adds atmosphere and explains the background of things, after all it is basically the start of the book. Nah i think its quite nice and it seems to simulate underground post apocalyptic despair quite well, with a strong vibe of unease and struggle for basic living conditions. I dunno, you agree?

I ENJOYED THE PLOT, YES. THE PARANORMAL ELEMENTS WERE MIXED IN WITHOUT IT APPEARING CORNY IN MY OPINION.

THE FACT THAT I'M GOING TO BOTHER WITH THE SEQUEL IS IN ITSELF ENOUGH TO SHOW MY APPRECIATION OF IT, AS I HARDLY EVER READ SERIES.

It was pretty good, relaxing read. Nothing groundbreaking, sometimes navie but still good.
