A comedian is the opposite of a philosopher. Philosophers seek truth and wisdom, and comedians seek approval and aggrandisement. Comedians cognition is that of a sycophant, telling people exactly what they wish to hear, only repackaged in a fresh new box. Even a sophist would scoff at comedians.
