Isn't it good to use an unconventional font in general so you have to focus more.

Had a dyslexic friend that would read manga because he liked reading and the images helped associate meaning. You should try it.

shape of the letters also matter. comic sans is good because letters like b and d tend to be just flipped versions of each other like in this very font, but some fonts have very distinct characters.

Hey there is a font out there meant for people with dyslexia that could help called Open Dyslexia you could try that and use the font as a system font or change it to that on an ereader

have dyslexia, but largely overcame it.
There is training and programmes you can do as dyslexia is a neurological disorder. Also a lot of reading and helping build associative word images will help you become better at recognizing words so there is less actual reading invloved. I've known other who benefit from larger font sizes and the fonts specifically made for people with dyslexia.
Dyslexia and dyspraxia have commonnalities, how ever strange it may sound training your balance can help with your reading. I wish you the best of luck, since dyslexia is manageble. Kind regards from a a university researcher that also has to do with a lot of reading. (ps: audiobooks can be a nice way to get into a lot of literature ;))
