/lit/ bros I may be close to hitting the threshold of knowledge where I would have gained everything I could gain from reading literature. I have read everything worth reading from Sumerian history to Land and I am honestly not sure what to do next. I always assumed that in literature I would find endless recreation just as I assumed would be the case with vidya and tv before it. It almost feels like the world is a lot smaller and a lot more narrower than I expected it to be. It's honestly a pretty depressing feel.

Not really. After a while it's just patterns and ideas repeating themselves and I can intuitively derive the essence fairly rapidly.

I already got a job. I already got savings. What do I do with my money ? I thought I could spend the rest of my life in comfy intellectual pursuits but there is not a whole lot left to go through. Do I get a new hobby ? /out/ Maybe ? Feels like that will be just as unfulfilling

Literature like any art is about aesthetic value and exploration ubiquitous ideas from different angles, not about generating entirely novel concepts. You sound like a larping brainlet who overdosed on memes and cliffnotes without actually reading anything.
