Anyone know of any good books about nineteenth to early twentieth century western lit? Like about romanticism, realism, modernism, symbolism etc.
I want to learn more about how those movements came about and swept across different countries, the effects of different writers etc.
Don't care if its specific books that cover part of that/general books that cover more.
