In the movie it seems that Bilbo misspelled his surname and it was funny but in the book is what the fuck

It fits with their simple nature that the more common hobbits would not know how to correctly say even their own name in plural. But Bilbo was of a higher class than his neighbors, and knew the correct pronunciation.

i think, knowing Tolkien, he was deliberate in making this line so obtuse.
and it fits with Bilbo's character, as he clearly sees himself as being above the general populous of The Shire, and just likes fucking with them.

His opinions of a small amount of his neighbors are too high.

I don't think he actually means what he says here. He doesn't actually intend for neighbors to understand him. It's basically Bilbo being smug and pretentious. It's all part of his prank. To ensure they keep talking and thinking about him when he's gone. He's stroking his ego.
