Life may yet prevail if democracy is abolished and an eco-facist government is implemented. Why? Because humans are too weak and self-indulgent to willingly embrace the harder way of life that is the inevitable result of a truly sustainable lifestyle. Also all foreign aid is to stopped in order to curb the global population growth. For this reason war, while tragic on a personal level, isn't actually bad. (Maybe he refers to population cycles as observed in nature, or I'm making shit up, can't remember. As humans have no natural predators: Homo homini lupus est.) Natural disasters and acts of terrorism that claim human lives are a good thing. Also technology in general is bad for the nature, trying to make it more eco-friendly is a fool's errand when you could just stop using it altogether. He also hates cats for eating his precious little birds.

not bad. he does say war is mostly useless though because only the men die, and so all the women just get knocked up afterward anyways, so we need to figure out a way to kill all the women too if war is going be helpful at all.

I agree with the majority of Linkola's views but he is a pleb and if you thought Can Life Prevail? was a good book, you should legit end it.

It was a collection of essays mostly about local Finnish problems, of course those aren't going to be of much interest to non-Finns.
