Hi /lit/. /v/ here, I'd like your advice, if you feel so kind.

I reacently read "Slaughterhouse 5", enjoyed it enormously; decided to continue, and just ordered another (pic related).
Any other Vonnegut book you'd reccomend, to start with?

Thanks!

I tried to read Slaughterhouse 5, and while I agree it was good, for some reason I took forever reading it, as opposed to finishing it in 1 maybe 2 sittings like I would any other book of its size.

I wonder why Vonnegut doesn't like Breakfast of Champions; I loved it.

it took me 3 weeks to read it because every paragraph was so damn good, i had to spend a few hours savouring each one.

i had read cat's cradle before and while i must say its plot is certainly better, the quality of writing in slaughterhouse 5 is top notch - packs more punch per line.
