I abandoned Western """"""""""philosophy"""""""""" a long time ago in favor of Eastern teachings because of reading paragraphs like this. The immense level of ego and the intrinsic pseudery born from it is found only in the Western """"""""intellects"""""""" , who pen such lovely paragraphs for us as the one you've given here. To his entire jumble of verbal garbage, one only needs ask the question: is IT true? His claim is that A=/=A, and yet, as is that claim equal to itself? If his claim can be considered A, is it equal to itself, A? Forget about the example of physical quantities he used, since he didn't seem to understand that A=A applies not simply to physical quantities, but is an abstract principle applying to reality itself.

My greatest advice for the anons of /lit/, a board I do not browse anymore after realizing what an absolute joke modern and past Western """"""""philosophy""""""''' is, is to read Plato and then the Easterns. Specifically the Advaita Vedanta school of Hinduism. In these two doctrines, lie all your answers. Plato will teach you that reality is comprised of unchanging essences - Numbers, Shapes, Beauty, Goodness, Justice, etc, and Advaita will teach you that Consciousness is Everything - that your individual Consciousness is in reality the fundamental Unit of all reality, and that you are therefore in your truest essence, One with the Ultimate. Read into the subtle bodies, and recognize the physical body to merely be the lowest density of similar yet subtler higher bodies, including the Etheric, Emotional, and Mental bodies. Consciousness continues after death of the physical body, which is merely the shedding of your densest shell. Hence why we know of Ghosts - they are the disembodied souls of once-embodied beings. There is nothing spooky or strange about them. Reincarnation is real as well, and one reincarnates according to one's state of Karma from the previous life.

I have had such experiences these past few months, my friends. States of consciousness previously unimagined by me. A spiritual vision has opened in me, and I can see energies around me now. The beings which people see on DMT, I have seen the outlines of in my sober, waking reality. This you might not believe, yet I tell you Truth.

Abandon the sham you call Western """""philosophy""""", consisting ultimately of egoic fools endlessly arguing amongst eachother, pompous posturers having little wisdom in them but still seeking to appear so, and, after reading Plato, who is the God of Western Philosophy and it's true Father, seek the East. Therein you will know everything. In the East, nothing is separate from anything. Philosophy is not reduced to the intellectual masturbation it is in the West, but is a system incorporating Meditation and Yogic exercises that one can use to gain greater sight of Truth. I do not browse /lit/ anymore and never will, yet I want to help you all in climbing this mountain. Take care my friends, and stay Blessed.
