I'm much to young and illiterate to honestly compare myself with any of my favorite writers in character or skill. However, I can say that Orwell and Shaw have had by far the most palpable influence in the development of my train of thought. I would wager that by stating that fact one could make an argument that by sheer influence alone you invariably acquire some of the characteristics of your favorite writers, or rather, the writers you read most frequently. Which does, i suppose, make you a tiny bit like them.
