...which sense of romance do you mean? romantic in the modern sense or romantic as in romances?
well, either way, look into harley 2253 (or the harley lyrics). it contains a lot of romances including King Horn, it's got a lot of love, it's got a lot of religious poetry. though, remember that it was a commonplace-book and a schoolbook. it was shared among a household and wasn't meant to be read cover to cover. it's a miscellany and has different parts to appeal to different readers.
