Reminder that smokers are better writers, tobacco is an mental elixir that stimulates the cognitive faculties, and smoking is not as bad as it is made out to be if you examine the studies for yourself.

It's less conspiratorial than that but basically yes. Read Dr. Whitby's books: "The Smoking Scare Debunked" and "Smoking is Good for You".
>>12122348
That's because the New World had yet to be discovered.
Kant, Schopenhauer, and most great philosophers, scientists, writers, and composers the past 500 years were smokers. It is not a hedonistic drug which calls into question as to whether it is a "vice". It's an anti-vice as it stimulates the brain to think; the idle mind is the devil's workshop.

Roll your own (or rather, tubed) unfiltered cigarettes, which can be had for under $1.50 cents for 20 cigarettes (a pack).. American Spirit, Organic or Perique blends. Norwegian Shag is decent too, hard to find.
Unfiltered cigarettes are actually better for you as you do not inhale as deeply.

I would not advise commercial cigarettes in the anyways. The presence of additives and FSC, as well as low quality tobacco, can offset the benefits.

No it's not fucking true. Anyone who smokes should be able to tell that it directly effects cardiovascular health, leading to an easy inference that smoking damages the lungs and therefore causing cancer.

>Anyone who smokes should be able to tell that it directly effects cardiovascular health, leading to an easy inference that smoking damages the lungs and therefore causing cancer.
>should be able to tell
So what you're saying is, you have no idea and your proposed mechanism is vague and simplified. Tobacco smoke fails to induce cancer in healthy animal subjects at rates higher than control. This stands in direct contradiction to your simplistic reasoning. The Japanese studies, now referred to as the Japanese smokers paradox, also contradict your claims of cardiovascular injury arising from tobacco.
