Because /x/ is where people get their spine tingling for less than three pages of writing. /lit/ only has sparkly and abusive vampires in a trilogy set.

I'd rather you tell me straight. I'm from neither of these boards, so insulting one of them does me no good.

/x/ isn't just full of dummies who are credulous enough to believe in paranormal silliness. It's also got people just interested in it as a genre of fiction.

Regardless. on all the boards I have been both impressed by many and disappointed by a few nitwits.

That Dark&Edgy fuckwit has, for example, made a real name for himself as an example of what not to do. What a sad case.

IMO, most of /lit/ and /x/ are worthy.

Pic unrelated but funny.

Except for /lit/. Books are meant for burning. That's what /lit/ is about. Burning books.

Hi, I don't quite get what you mean but if you mean burning paper in the shape of a book, rationally there is nothing intrinsically wrong with it. Burning a rare book would be wrong in most circumstances and some people find value in large collections of paperbacks, for example, but if I was forced to choose between burning the library of congress and burning as many people as there are books in the library of congress then I would burn the library without a second thought.

This may be strange but there is a great short book about a guy who burns books. It's by Hrabal, Too quiet a Solitude.

You could read it in an afternoon.

Personally, I love reading. That said I wouldn't want to become a hoarder.

Another case of someone turning a blind eye to the significant numbers of productive threads I've made about Bloom, differance, getting outside the text, Pushkin smoking, Northrop Frye, etc where I haven't called people names and the usual rigmarole that people get angry over. People like you are worthless, you can't take knowlege unless it's spoon-fed and sugared up, tack on the word "idiot" to it and suddenly it's the vilest slander in the world.

Harold Bloom? I read but did not appreciate him. "DifferAnce?" typos happen but any touchtypist will tell you this is not a typo, this is an indication that at times, you simply fail to spell words correctly.

No amount of (self-declared) significant contributions excuse you from insulting others without style.

Don't you get it? Obviously not given that you lack the essential element necessary: style.

Best of luck trolling /lit/ and I hope you find a balance of meds that works for you.

Stop yelling. Your mom will hear you.

I for one don't mind /x/. They have great stream sites, Decent original content, and on top of that a reasonably friendly atmosphere for the board. More than can be said of /lit/ at times

If you seriously think you're going to enflame a war between boards, you'd best be joking. Gb2 /b/
