I did almost nothing today (really yesterday because it's 1.35 am). I woke up, drank lots of coffee while browsing the internet, went to the gym, then drank coffee while browsing the internet and eating. I don't feel too bad because I lifted a lot in the gym, didn't have junk food, and didn't waste money on a £3 coffee. But it's worrying how easily I throw away a day of my life and how I have no motivation to do anything productive in my free time.

No such thing as wasting time as long as you're in control of your actions

I don't normally relate to frogposts but this is literally my diary desu

Constant mediocrity, fretting about all the ways I'm falling short but just able to keep myself from straying into bad habits in any serious way

Londonfrog, please try leading an entirely chaste lifestyle. It aids motivation significantly. Nicotine also synergizes nicely with caffeine and confers increased self control. Gum or patch.

pretty much my diary the past 2 days as well except i have a thesis and final exams coming up in 2-3 weeks which ill likely end up getting done last minute like ive always done.

i dont think ive ever been able to remain disciplined for more than a few days at a time in hindsight. I always think ive figured it out then manage to slip back into being a drooler unable to control myself or my thoughts. really makes me hate myself when reading the works of authors or historical figures who had their shit together.

At least you will get your degree, get stuck in a semi comfy job, and prolong your existence quantity wise, always hoping that the big enlightenment waits around the corner
