I would freeze time just to have enough privacy from the world to be able to read just one book desu.

>tfw all the time in the world to read
>tfw glasses broke

>> No.12058168

Which of the two would /lit/ pick:

1. An ability to absorb novels instantly. Drawback: you can no longer read normally and enjoy the process
2. Perfect comprehesion of any text. Drawback: your reading speed is halved

I miss it when years ago I hadn't gotten the "web itch" shall we call it. But I suppose it was inevitable because even in my professional life I can't get away from computers, and am a computer geek.

That's like asking someone who lives where cocaine naturally grows not to have a sniff every once and a while.

What's the point of reading if i can't enjoy it?

Perfect comprehension, ez. The reading speed is a small price to pay compared to understand Hegel.

>> No.12059110

Comprehension. I don't reach that much or that fast anyways.

Pushing to the wayside how godlike this would be for learning to be something like a neuroscientist, my biggest problem is I can read and reread something several times and not be able to actually digest the words shown to me until my retard brain decides to magically make it all "click" on the umpteenth rereading. This would be heaven, I have plenty of time.

why do you even come to this board?

First one to reach peak pseud levels

>> No.12060399

Perfect comprehension, obviously, if I can't even understand texts I read instantly (and they can only be novels), what would be the point?
