Just finished Arthur C Clarke’s Childhoods End and enjoyed it quite a lot.

It really has me thinking about philosophical implications on art as Arthur was a Buhddist and this impacted the story in such a unique way but you wouldn’t know it just by the text alone. Isn’t religion essentially just art?
