Name your 3 favourite short stories, or just 3 short stories that you like.

>Joyce - Araby
>Kafka - A Country Doctor
>Delillo - Midnight in Dostoevsky

>> No.12023540

hey a country doctor is so good
one time i copied out the whole thing in cursive into a notebook for some reason and i was struck by the fact that at the very center there's this sentence that isn't really connected to any of the surrounding narrative: "what am i doing trapped in this eternal winter" (in the translation i had)
anyway i liked that

also

richard yates: fun with a stranger
raymond carver: a small good thing
anton chekhov: the kiss
