What are some authors similar to Dostoyevski but without all the Christian moral fagging? I hate how he writes strong characters only to have them suffer later in some profound way

I can advise Leonid Andreyev's The Diary of Satan. I can also advice Russian literature beginning of XX century: Shestov, Ivanov Bely and so on. The literature of '17 tried to reflect on Dostoevski and Nietzsche
