this happened to me in highschool as well they actually made my mom come in and the teacher and the principal sat me down and asked what teh fuck i had written(it was an essay i wrote about how people choose what they do in life)

This was after the grades were already in, it was the end of 12th grade and there was nothing at stake, so I just yelled at them for about 5 minutes and then walked out. My rant was along the lines of 'how dare you make my mother worried when she has her own work to attend to ,calling her on a sunday making her think her son is unstable, you should be ashamed, and furthermore youre just too stupid and narrowminded to understand my essay' and so on in that vein of adolescent anger.

They were in fact right to be worried because I ended up being insane

Something similar happened to me. I wrote a nostalgic story in freshman year of high school talking about how I missed being a kid and how I would never experience those sweet carefree moments again. The teacher wrote “that’s not true.” and drew a little sad face as feedback on my paper. I think I got a B on it.
