Some, but not most. Most of the stuff you'll find in an average bookstore is bland sexual-fantasy wish-fulfillment shit.
There are very few books out there that are actually heartwarming or comforting portrayals of romantic love.

If you are writing about love, and writing real literature, it will necessarily be about failed love, or about the tragedy of love with all its contradictions, or about the frustrated yearning for flesh and the hazy boundary between love and lust. But you can't be in love and write great literature.
