there was never any greek 'empire' (unless you're talking about the eastern roman empire? not sure exactly what you mean). the roman empire fell for very complicated reasons; generally speaking a flawed political system and relationship between society and politics, too much territory, and an eventual inability to effectively govern that territory.

They AROSE because of homosex with children, they failed because of Christianity.

This is why the Vatican is trying to find the middle ground.

>> No.1198982

rome fell due to political backstabbing and the unshared ideals of classic rome known as the western empire in italy and the eastern empire centered in constantinopolis(modern day istanbul in turkey) a lot of which is centered around the persecution of religious freedom and the idea of a unified religion that arose from the cult of christianity the spread of the empire and its ideas began the chain of assasinations by generals to the emperor and the shattering of the empire a long with attacks from german savages from the north lead to the downfall of rome

key highlights

>christians persecute other religions and dont allow the laws of donating to the emperor for religious freedom
>the empire had reached a critical point in size and became uncontrollable
>German people they attack things its what theyve done throughout time

Also, there was a total elimination of the middle class and it became difficult for the government to raise revenue.
