essay by Nick Land

basically it's a bunch of blog posts, centred around this one guy Moldbug, who thinks democray is a mistake, formal authority is key, and view history through a kind of memetics, that is the Darwinian adaptation of ideas to people's minds and to political structures, and the feedback loops involved

>Traditionalist

The Techno-Commercialist (Patchwork Moldbug + Nick Land) strands are not traditionalists in any sense and merely want to disconnect themselves from the cathedral so they can use reactionary elements to create a superior form of government to the present day.

The "Trad" currents want to realise an idealised version of previous societies adapted to the modern age.

This is why NRx is Neoreaction and not just reaction. There is innovation and adaption intended to make something new at the very least.
