It works well if you don't let it get out of hand. It's a different number for everyone but 3 is normally the most anyone should do methinks. Reading 5 books at once like OP is doing is probably faggotry, but some ppl can do it

I read extremely dense heavy stuff, mathematical usually.

The first book is Alhazen’s Optics. I typically just read one chapter at a time, and this will be something like 80-something pages the next time I read it.

Some chapters for the books are only like a half of a page or something. Just depends on how the author separates it
