Hello hello, /lit/.
All I want to know, is your favorite novel and what genre it is. Would appreciate some back up on what are good and what aren't, need something new to read since i'm all out.

East of Eden, by Steinbeck.
I don't know what the genre is, exactly.
It more-or-less relates the life of a guy, including his relationship with his brother, love affair with a sociopathic bitch, and his raising of his children. The whole thing is a Cain/Abel allusion twiceover.
