I've been told this is the best place for this question. What are the best train books? I want train novels, nonfiction books about trains, railroad engineering books, anything train related

If On A Winter's Night A Traveller by Italo Calvino opens very promisingly in a train station, but the printing of my edition was messed up and I couldn't get past chapter 1. Tried going to the shop for another copy and you wouldn't -believe- the shenanigans that ensued. Long story short, I never found out what happened next in the train station.

You might have better luck though.

Sup OP

I recently read The Great Railway Bazaar: By Train Through Asia. It was a decent read but was glad to finish it and move onto something else.

I've been recommended Moscow to the End of the Line

Good job with wasting so much lifetime by doing nothing in an almost perfect environment for reading.
