I barely read the last few years and it's really fucking with me, I'd like to pick it up again. The book thief was probably my favourite book as a teen, and the only real books I read in highschool were the 2 fantasy trilogies of Brent weeks (Night angel and Lightbringer series), and a few of the Henderson boys (prequel Cherub series). I'm about to finish Dune, although I wasn't a huge fan of it, but it was pretty decent.

I'm reading 'mans search for meaning' right now and really enjoying it. I want to read more likeminded stuff, but I feel like my tendency when searching for books is to go for the most intellectual stuff, rather than what I'd enjoy. I don't even know what I'd enjoy.

I'm a big cinephile, so I can list my favourite films/games if that helps too.

Have you read The Hobbit? It's quite good, immersive and not dense. And if you like it you can try LOTR
