I hadn't read in like a month up until yesterday. I randomly decided to read Crito and I'm glad I did. Just do it anon. Pick a book up and read it.

I wish I had better things to do
I seriously cannot go more than a couple days without reading just out of boredom
Seriously what the fuck do you people do to occupy your time

Download an app like Libby and just use your library card so you can get books and return them quickly :)

Other than things i'm required to do. YouTube mostly

I play video games. What's stupid is that almost all games are terribly boring to me, and if I choose reading I feel better afterward, but games are so easy to start I keep falling into that trap.

tfw I got myself about 100 books this year, started 7 and finished 3.
>>11967756
Picking up a book should be easier than booting up the computer though... unless you also mean getting into the mindset / mood which I totally agree with. I had the problem with starting a more demanding video game or just another round of cod.

The last time I even opened a book was 14 years ago, but I've been coming to /lit/ for the last 6 years.

myself at the beginning of this year
>NEET jobless virgin living in mom's basement, spent ~8-10 hours a day mindlessly browsing 4chan, did zero reading
myself towards the end of this year
>NEET had-a-part-time-job-he-got-fired-from virgin who spends ~6-8 hours a day on 4chan but also reads 100 pages a day with the number continuing to increase, and also started exercising more

Moral of the story is, it's not too late to change yourself, but you'll probably always remain a NEET virgin.

Kids is an obvious one, but this is 4chan so that might not be true of anyone else
I'll be lucky if I finish Moby Dick in the next year

Not if you're already at your desktop though. Honestly getting my browser only crapbook has probably been the single greatest boost to my productivity in my life. No more steam just a single click away.

unironically block 4chan and all similar sites.
you probably spend way too much time mindlessly scrolling through places like this.
I blocked and completely avoided chans and boards for two months. productivity shot through the roof. right now, I'm testing to see if my discipline has improved and if I can use places like this in moderation.
