Stupid people have this ideas that reading the great thinkers is necessarily ‘conforming’ to the tyranny of ‘what other people think’. Philosophy for stupid people is ‘just thinking about stuff’, and inevitably coming to a common opinion. Here we recognize that in order to meaningfully have original or actually ‘non-conforming’ opinions you need to be in dialogue with all the great thinkers who have already considered the problems you are trying to think about.

So yes, if you want to be a political non-conformist you will those texts and others and actually think about what you read. The opposite is just being an infowars asshole who thinks they are a genius and a “non conformist” because they believe all the same conspiracies that everybody else does.

Dracula is a good book and while I have not read Frankenstein, I know plenty who have and they told me it was similar to Dracula. Both are written in the same journal style. All of the books in the classic horror category are worth reading.

There's no rhyme or reason to anything in it. In many of his books Evola will take for granted that the reader is familiar with certain concepts introduced in Revolt and elsewhere so he doesn't always define what he's talking about. For this reason starting with Grail is probably the worst advice anyone can give. I wouldn't even call it a primary or necessary text.

You don't have to. After Revolt you can go wherever you want with him although it's not a bad idea to also read Men Among the Ruins before getting into the political stuff. Men also comes with a really great introductory essay surveying his philosophy.

Why is every sentence it's own paragraph? And as far as the literature is concerned, "unity of blood and soil" is one of those things people in the authoritarian right throw around without any actual discernible meaning. It's one of those concepts you 'feel' rather than 'think' if you know what I mean. As such, the literature associated with it is aiming to make you 'feel' more than anything.

The Way of Men is, last I checked, riddled with typographical and editing errors, and besides that not very good. Industrial Society and it's Future is written by history's second least competent terrorist (right behind the underwear bomber), who also happens to be brain damaged from a disease he contracted during infancy that turned him into the biggest sperg in the modern world. Permaculture is, from what I've been told, a very good book on sustainable gardening. I have no idea about the rest, nor do I know anything about Darre, but the fact that none of the titles are authored by him tells me he probably isn't that critical to the subject matter.
