>Hey Anon, look up from your coffee! We still have an entire summer of blissful youthful love left to enjoy, plus 3 more years of studying what we love amidst college debauchery and shenanigans amongst a highly educated, witty, and attractive college pooulace. Just a typical young person's life, right?

ok you got me. I was going to say nobody's life is like that, but one of my friends had that life. true deep love many times as a kid.

but then later his father had a heart attack in front of him out of the blue. I could keep my lonely life if it meant not having that

Wtf, literally every university student with a girlfriend who studies something he's interested in has this life

few people study what they're interested in, fewer have a gf. Of those few, fewer still have a GF that is that hot...

and that kind of person doesn't appreciate what he has, usually

Oof, this one hit hard. Life was promising prior to university. I thought it was going to transform me and it never did. First year, 2014-15 was, at that point, the worst year of my life. My autistic shyness is crippling. Moved back home after failing socially and commuted. Got a gf at the end of my second year but she went to Germany to study for a year while I went through my final year. Also had chronic sciatica for two years which incapacitated me - I was legally disabled. Got the surgery in June of this year and now I'm free of that, and yet, since graduating last November, I've done nothing. My gf lives about three hours away and works five days a week, it's a loveless relationship but I guess it's better than nothing? I've felt like I've been on the precipice of finally going after what I want for about the last four years. /blog

No, lol.

No one gets excited by hermeneutics except religious cultists and academics.
