some old hag is petsitting a friends dog and she decides to let the dog run out and into the city until it comes back several days later. she keeps doing this and then wrote about her experiences. another dog she let out in the city on purpose got hit by a car and lost an eye. its like a crazy cat lady but instead its dogs. any other dog book would be better.
