Why is reading lots of literature a better writing advice than reading books about grammar, figures of speech, rethoric, oratory, metric, puntuaction and writer advice books?

Most important part is to write as much as you can, even if it's shit at first, so you are consistently practicing.

Reading a lot of books while you do so gives you a sense of what you like, what you don't like, and gives you exposure to different styles (which will influence you and potentially help you get better faster)
