Hi /lit/, this is my non-fiction collection. What do you think of it?
Are there any other works or authors you would recommend?

Because he's the faggot which expanded the lit in the pic into bookcases in front of windows. Its the lefty "/lit/" meme. If you think it's a great starter, go neck yourself.

Have you lurked here at all? We talk about little but the classics of imaginative literature and the most canonical works of philosophy. People here would rightly recommend you read Plato, Shakespeare, Nietzsche, Joyce, Borges—but your shelf gives no indication that you’d be interested in such recommendations

You need some fiction and poetry in your life. Abstain from reading politically-themed non-fiction within the next year or so, and dedicate yourself to reading stuff like Austen, Tolstoy, Byron, Wordsworth, Ovid, or anything else.
Reading non-fiction books like that will only make your life bitter, stale, and filled with grudges towards other people. Fiction, on the other hand, can give joy to your life.

Only if you’re reading the wrong kind of political non-fiction.

Reading Hayek, for example, gives you a grudge against fascism/communism, which is a good feeling in this world.

Yup I imagine hell would be strategically constructed so that it catered to your individual dislikes instead of just to general human dislikes. I never made the claim your shelf looks objectively bad. I said it looked like hell for me because it’s filled with books I’m not at all interested in.
