Wrong. I've transcended the need for a gf. After years of not having one you will eventually hit a point where you know you'll never have one, so it becomes unimportant, really. It's like knowing you'll never explore the stars or go back in time and undo the industrial revolution, they are cool things to talk about but they're not happening. I now focus on writing and use literature just as a mean of improving my prose.
