why do impotent marxist fags like mr china here have such a hate boner for Tolkien? he talks about Tolkien's writings as if they were eunuch vapid imaginations like his, and both should fall under the category of "fantasy". Tolkien set out to write epics and moral tales, the elements of fantasy as we're invited to call them these days were only stylistic preferences. He makes it seem as though anyone using supernatural elements is just fantasy, and should be open to vain nagging from non-entities like himself, well after all it is all just "fantasy", right?. an ideal state will not let hacks like him get published.

Mm, he sure did. Those certainly are the things he tried to do.

>The Lord of the Rings is much more deep-rooted in its infantilism than a good many of the more obviously juvenile books it influenced. It is Winnie-the-Pooh posing as an epic.
