you can only develop an ability by using it

if the only media you only ever expose yourself to, the only types of people, the only types of thought, are really fucking banal, mediocre, and pure shit- you're gonna be a little underdeveloped in your ability to receive subtlety

ive experimented with slowly try to transform a pleb into having better tastes by exposing them to slowly better and better stuff from the level that they were previously on. it has worked in that case, may work for others
