Ever took a poop in your life? Did you ever bother to smell? Humans are just machines designed naturally to make fertile material for plants to grow. We must establish a sadistic order of total control over every living thing on the planet, and annihilate any and all possibly dissidents and invaders.

Plato.
There's really no comparison, and putting them next to these pseuds is an insult.
Ted gets a pass for his ancient spirit.

of those four it's plato for sure.

but you could make it more interesting by adding a new challenger.

Ted because of the obvious context - He was there to witness the development of civilization and implication of technological progress.

But Ted has nothing to do with politics.

It's mencius moldbug, who wrote Unqualified Reservations which more or less kickstarted the 'neoreactionary' movement which is said to have influenced the altright in general. His real name is Curtis Yarvin and he's some sort of tech guy, he appears to be independently wealthy because nobody would hire this dude except eccentrics like Thiel

funny anecdote, he once went to meet someone for lunch at the Google building, and his presence literally triggered a silent alarm that brought security guards to escort him from the premises

because he wrote some blog posts

Easily Hoppe regarding democracy in particular. However, Ted is the most based and the most correct overall. Plato incorrectly separated form and representation, and presents a bastardised version of Heraclitus who was pretty spot on and recognised that man is nature and must be what he is. In the end, nature will win out over man's rebellion and Moldbug is a fool to bet on tech.

It kind of is. All forms of ideology are attempts to manage / control / keep productive, unnatural population sizes which could not be sustained (And would not exist) without industrialisation.

Yes, it can't be built in an egalitarian way.
Inequality is built into civilisation.

Which is exactly what Rousseau said... then people "follow him" by doing the complete opposite. Leftists are fucking braindead.

>>11851460

I don't think anyone "followed" Rousseau at all but rather it was so that every remotely "democratic" discourse at the time, his included, was nicely packed into the Enlightenment can of ideology and you just had to repeat the words inside of the can while continuing on the normal development of industrial society. Win-win for the bankers and entrepreneurs of the time, as well as those of our time
