I need help /lit/. One of my friends has dived headfirst into the world of conservative youtube shills. His gateway to this world was Lauren Southern's looks (admittedly fine), but now he's moved onto Crowder and finally he's on a Peterson binge, watching Peterson vids every day now. Since then he's been ranting about how libertarianism is the only logical political philosophy and that capitalist is good because communism is evil, and no matter what I say he comes up with some slimey excuse to weezle his way out of an objection. What the fuck book can I show him to deflate his fat fucking head?

Well his understanding of capitalism and libertarianism is that they serve to mitigate the evils of society. So whenever I bring up any problem that can be quite fairly associated with either system, like the blatant disregard that capitalists have for the environment, he just says oh well human nature is flawed so every system is gonna have its problems, but at least it ain't as bad as STALINIST RUSSIA. He's fallen into that stupid trick that conservatives have been pulling since 1917--that anything is good so long as it isn't MUH COMMUNISM.

I also told him to look up the way the West has fucked the third world over with debt but I'm still waiting for a response on that one.
