What? That book is probably one of the most easy to interpret books ever. It’s a wonderful book, and I don’t mean to intend it’s shallow by saying it’s easy to get the message, but Dostoevsky isn’t hiding any cards in his sleeve or trying to baffle the reader somehow.

The problem is that for some reason Notes from the Underground is seen as some /r9k/ manifest ,while is really a critique against the modern utopic projects that pretend that humans, their motivations and life in general can be mechanically calculated.
