Anyone have a philosophy book that's just someone talking about life and how to be a good person? Preferably by someone kind and wise. Enjoyed pic related and looking for more. Tried starting with Senca and currently liking it. What should I read afterwards?

he's not necessarily kind (it's often intended to correct the aristocracy, and is masked in formality) but it's otherwise what you're looking for
also it's a precursor to what you're reading

Cicero and Seneca's writings (and Stoicism in a broader sense) are basically this.

Been on the same path
Read Epictetus.
Abd if you want a deeper understanding of the philosophy, read Pierre Hadot books on Marcus Aurelius and Epictetus. I fucking love him.
