What's lit's opinion on Sigizmund Krzhizhanovsky?

I don't know, but I hate Hungarian names. I once failed a psychology exam because I spelled Mihály Csíkszentmihályi wrong.

I doubt you are serious, but he is Russian writer of Polish origin.

I picked up Memories of the Future a few years back and remember liking it quite a lot. The story about the expanding room had some real House of Leaves vibes, and I enjoyed the one about the Eiffel Tower breaking free of its moorings and leading police on a chase across Europe.

Haven't read any of the other stuff NYRB has put out from him, though.

Better than Borges.
