I read a book in middle school and I can’t find it anywhere.
It was about a boy who was staying at his grandmothers house and she reveals to him that by drinking water from a nearby lake (which is polluted) she gained the ability to read minds. He drinks it from a jug (which I think is in the title, maybe not) and gains the same power and I think they end up turning on each other.
Does anybody have any idea what I could be referencing?
I really want to know it’s been driving me nuts
